Tourism Recognition Awards salute significant contributions
Within the West Virginia tourism industry, we have a wonderful representation of some of the state’s most dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic people. You may be working with one of them or with an organization that shows continually the drive that makes our industry a top performer in the state. The Stars of the Industry Awards are your opportunity to allow the entire industry and the state to recognize the valuable contributions of these people and organizations.
Advertising/Public Relations Awards showcase tourism features
Throughout the year, features appear in state and national publications, on television, radio and on the web that showcase some of the best travel and tourism opportunities in the Mountain State. The West Virginia Division of Tourism is proud to sponsor the Advertising/Public Releations awards that allows us to recognize journalists, photographers, and web authers whose work helps promote our tourism industry.
Awards presented at Tourism Conference
Industry panels will judge the contests and winners will be announced at the annual West Virginia Tourism Conference at Moutaineer Casino Resort and Racetrack in Chester, WV at the Awards Luncheon September 17, 2008.
