Steam and Gas Engine Show: May 5 - 6, Point Pleasant. See antique steam and gas engines, a running sawmill, antique tractors and visit an authentic log church. A church service is set for Sunday at 9 a.m. with a gospel sing at 1:30 p.m. A country kitchen and a country store will be open. Admission is free. 45th Annual Webster County Nature Tour: May 5 - 6, Webster Springs. Enjoy the mountains of West Virginia with programs, entertainment and hiking along rivers, over mountains and along waterfalls watching birds and other wildlife while identifying wildflowers, ferns, mosses, shrubs and rock formations. Camp Caesar is open for the weekend with admission for adults $90 and for children under 12 $60. Price includes lodging for two nights, five meals and all programs, entertainment and refreshments. Bramwell Spring Tour of Homes: May 12, Bramwell. Gather at Bramwell Presbyterian Church for a tour of historical homes in Mercer County built by early 20th century coal barons. This self-guided walking tour features costumed guides in each of the homes sharing stories of that particular home. Other stops include historic structures in the town. Refreshments will be served at The Coal Heritage Trail Interpretive Center. Hours are 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and tickets are $10 per person.
