The Appalachian Children's Chorus hosts the Festival of Young Voices in conjunction with the 31st Annual Vandalia Gathering. Choirs from Annapolis, Charlotte and the Mid-Ohio Valley along with two Appalachian Children's Choirs will perform. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at The Clay Center and admission is free. Celebrate the ethnic and cultural heritage of our state through traditional arts such as old-time fiddle, banjo and lap dulcimer competitions, ethnic and square dancing at the Cultural Center, a liars' contest, more than 45 arts and craft vendors and a sampling of traditional and ethnic foods. A quilt and wall hangings exhibit will be displayed at the Cultural Center. Festival is free and open to the public. Arts and crafts hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day.
