LABOR DAY: PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO “ANSWER THE CALL” TO WIN NEW CAMRY HYBRID

West Virginia Division of Tourism video contest gives residents and out-of-state visitors chance to win prize by sharing their travel experiences in the Mountain State

Charleston , W.Va. – West Virginia Division of Tourism representatives encourage travelers of the Mountain State to “Answer the Call” by filming their Labor Day excursions in hopes of winning a new Camry Hybrid. “Answer the Call” is open to both in-state residents and out-of-state visitors and videos can be submitted by simply visiting the contest Web site at www.WVisCalling.com.

“Labor Day provides the opportunity for a day trip or a short drive to visit many of West Virginia’s Wild and Wonderful attractions,” said Liz Chewning, West Virginia state travel director. “And, with the recent launch of our ‘Answer the Call’ contest, travelers can film and submit videos of their experiences for a chance to win a new Camry Hybrid.”

West Virginia Division of Tourism Commissioner Betty Carver explained the Mountain State has much to offer anyone looking for an escape this holiday weekend and that makes the opportunities to film and submit videos to the “Answer the Call” contest endless. “From rafting trips, scenic views and family picnics at state parks, to golf outings with friends, wildlife, nightlife and funny campfire conversations, we are excited to see the ways in which people are enjoying our state,” she said.

Contest videos must be submitted by Oct. 31, 2007. Submitted videos and additional contests details, including video requirements, judging criteria, prize information and travel ideas are available by visiting www.WVisCalling.com.
